After adopting three kids in 2017, life became all about them. How could we best bond and help our kids through yet another significant transition in life, while providing support to encourage their healing. Almost immediately, I connect with Ms. Polly after researching child and play therapy, and she has been with us ever since. From the first visit, Ms. Polly worked to build a trusted relationship with each of my kids, giving them a safe place to share and process trauma and big emotions. She has been an integral part of their recovery and of our lives as parents. She cares yet remains objective, fostering progress not perfection. She is an amazing person and therapist, one that I would recommend to anyone!
Polly has been very instrumental in helping me navigate through some various difficult times in my recent years.
In combination with her professional knowledge, compassion, guidance, and fun-loving spirit, she has significantly helped me through the recovery of a toxic relationship, death of a parent and illness of my child. Although she has provided me with tools that continue to be a proven asset for me, I am always comfortable with going to see her when needed. ~ DS
Polly is an amazing therapist and person. I have been seeing her for over a year now and have made tremendous improvements. She is someone you can go to at any time of the day for any reason. Polly truly cares about all of her patients and forms a relationship with all of them. She educates her patients on mental health and coping strategies. She has truly become more than a therapist, she is a friend. - Lauren
Polly is the best!! I see her every few weeks and look forward to every session. She has been so helpful to my relationship and anxiety. I definitely recommend her, as she is so personal- able and understanding!
What an awesome experience we have had with Dr. Polly Johnson. When I was looking for a therapist for my granddaughter, my focus was someone I could trust, someone that my granddaughter trusted and someone that she could connect with. Dr. Polly was all that and more. She is very attentive and kind hearted. One thing that really impresses me is how concerned she is about Journees' progress weekly, she really cares. I have seen progress with my granddaughter on so many levels and she looks forward to seeing Dr. Polly every week. We made a great choice!!!
