About Polly

Polly serves a wide array of clients, including individuals, families, and children. Her practice frequently addresses issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationships, anger management, attachment, divorce, emotion regulation, parent-child relationships, sibling conflict, self-esteem, blended families, and adoption.

Polly works with her clients to collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans. She uses approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused brief, relational, trauma-focused, and sand therapy. She also uses play therapy to achieve amazing results with the youngest clients, through an interactive experience.

Polly offers more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a Certified TraumaTherapist and a TBRI Practitioner (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). She has worked in various settings, including in-patient treatment, foster care, school counseling, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, and private practice.

Polly has three adopted children. Her family is culturally diverse and she has a child who has sensory issues. Her formal training, along with personal experiences, allows Polly to have a well-rounded perspective when developing therapeutic relationships
